Privilege Pay

Privilege Pay is available for eligible* Glass City Checking Accounts

Have you ever ...

• Made an honest mistake in your checkbook?
• Found yourself "a little short"?
• Had unusual or unforeseen expenses at just the wrong time?

With Privilege Pay, rather than returning non-sufficient funds (NSF) items that you may have, we will consider paying your overdrafts, up to $500.*

Privilege Pay could ...

... Protect you from the embarrassment of returned checks

... Protect you from returned check charges from the merchant —  which can add up quickly!

... Protect you from collection agency fees

... Provide an alternative to expensive check-cashing outlets

Each time you use Privilege Pay, Glass City will send you a notification. The charge to use Privilege Pay is $25 per overdraft — the same as an NSF fee. The difference is that Privilege Pay gives you flexibility and protection when you need it most.

Privilege Pay is an additional feature of your checking account, and requires no action on your part. However, we cannot promise to pay every overdraft. We are never obligated to pay your overdrafts, even though your account may be in good standing, and we may have previously paid overdrafts for you.

You may choose to opt out of Privilege Pay by calling any branch or completing an Opt-Out Request Form.

RESTRICTIONS DO APPLY. Click here for a copy of Glass City FCU’s Privilege Pay Policy.
